Following a factory fire early in 2014 at custom metal stamper Viking Inc., Columbia City, IN, the service team at Coe Press Equipment stepped in to restore two smoke- and water-damaged feed lines to help the stamper quickly get back up and running. The lines in question: a 1997-vintage ServoMaster Series 1 for light-gauge stamping, and a 2007-vintage ServoMaster Series 2 for medium-gauge applications. Modular design and robust construction made the lines perfect candidates for refurbishment rather than replacement. The process included power washing, mechanical and control repairs and new electrical systems.
