Aviation-Industry Supplier Installs 12-kW Six-Axis Fiber-Laser System

Aviation- and gas-turbine-industry supplier Hi-Tek Manufacturing, Mason, OH, has installed a Laserdyne 795XL fiber-laser production system from Prima Power Laserdyne, Champlin, MN. Included is a 12-kW fiber laser and a six-axis motion system with Laserdyne’s contouring cutting head—900-deg. rotary-axis motion and 300-deg. tilt-axis motion. The machine can drill, cut and weld.
