A new 6200-sq.-m facility in Schramberg-Sulgen, Germany, has become the home of solid-state laser development for Trumpf Laser GmbH + Co. The project, an investment of 13.5 million euros, allows the firm to consolidate all of its laser-development efforts under one roof. Included are laser-testing laboratories, a climate-controlled chamber, offices and conference rooms.
