Louisiana to Welcome New Hot-Rolling Tube Mill

Caddo, LA, will be the new home of a $900 million hot-rolling tube mill, to be built by Germany’s Benteler Steel/Tube. The mill will employ an estimated 675 full-time workers when at full capacity. Benteler will ramp-up tube production in the United States to meet growing demand driven by the renewed focus by the U.S. government to reduce energy imports and increase production of crude oil and natural gas.
