Sheetmetal-Enclosure Fabricator Expanding into Mexico

Maysteel LLC, Allenton, WI, a manufacturer of precision sheetmetal enclosures, will open a new sheetmetal-fabricating plant in Monterrey, Mexico, during the first quarter of 2012. The new 50,000-sq.-ft. facility will employ 60 people and include welding and powder coating among its core competencies.

Products fabricated in Mexico will undergo process and product validation at the firm’s Wisconsin technical center prior to launching production, say company officials.
