Contract Manufacturer to Double in Size

Accrotool, Inc., New Kensington, PA, a contract manufacturer offering metal stamping and fabricating, CNC machining, painting and other services, is adding 120,000 sq. ft. to its existing 100,000-sq.-ft. facility. The firm also now can apply silk-screen images to its products, following the December 2010 acquisition of MTEC, a silk-screening company in Jeannette, PA. Lastly, the company has added flat-screen television panels throughout its facility to provide production teams real-time access to job schedules—a change the company expects will increase productivity by 30 percent and accelerate on-time deliveries.
