Rolled Alloys Expands Portfolio via UK Acquisition

Rolled Alloys, Temperance, MI, a provider of heat- and corrosion-resistant alloys and branded stainless steels, has acquired Weir Materials, Manchester, England. The new company, RA Materials, will offer Weir’s Zeron 100 alloy, a high-strength corrosion-resistant super-duplex stainless steel. Zeron 100—25 Cr, 7 Ni, 3.5 Mo—is supplied as seamless and welded pipe, butt-weld fittings, forged flanges, plates, bars and welding consumables. It’s also available as custom-made pipes, tubes, fittings, forgings, wires, fasteners and machined parts to order. It is used in the oil and gas, desalination, chemical processing, pollution control and mining industries.
