Servo-Driven turret press
The Motorum-2044EZ servo-motor-driven turret-punch press from Murata Machinery USA, Inc., Charlotte, NC, incorporates new oil-less design technology to provide considerable production improvements, while reducing cost of operations and environmental impact, according to company officials.

Users report 30 percent less power consumption than hydraulically controlled turret punch presses.

Design innovations include reportedly the industry’s first advanced servo-motor-controlled ram drive, the elimination of hydraulic fluid-driven parts, a low-energy LCD control screen and quick-start capabilities that require no warm-up period.
