Perforated-Metal Maker Buys Midwest Fabricator

Hendrick Manufacturing, Memphis, TN, a manufacturer of perforated metal products and wire screens, purchased Hagen Metal Products Co., Elgin, IL, a precision sheetmetal fabricator.

Hagen will operate using its existing name as a related company under the Hendrick Midwest, LCC banner. Existing management has been retained, with Bruce Caldwell, formerly Hendrick supply chain manager, taking over as Hagen general manager. While concentrating on its existing business, Hagen will expand into manufacturing of perforated metal products to serve a growing customer base in the Midwest, according to Hendrick officials.
