Scholarships Aimed at Students Eyeing Automotive-Industry Careers

The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA), Diamond Bar, CA, is accepting applications until March 29, 2013, for a series of academic scholarships available through its Memorial Scholarship Fund. Awards, which range from $2000 to $5000, are available for students preparing for careers in the automotive or automotive-parts industries and are based on academic achievements, work experience, community involvement, essay content and recommendations. SEMS also offers a loan-forgiveness award, available to recent graduates working for SEMA-member companies and paying off existing student loans.
