The Automotive Applications Council of the Steel Market Development Institute (SMDI) has published AHSS 101: Evolving Use of Advanced High-Strength Steels for Automotive Applications. The paper, which explains the various AHSS grades and the benefits of each, is available for download at www.autosteel.org.
