Thomson Reuters named Fanuc Corp., Hoffman Estates, IL, one of its 2011 Top 100 Global Innovators, recognizing its successful patent-approval rate, global reach of patent portfolio, patent influence in literature citations and overall patent volume. The award comes on the heels of Fanuc earning recognition from Forbes magazine as one of the top 100 World’s Most Innovative Companies. Fanuc supplies robots, machine tools and CNC systems.
