Virginia College Opens Advanced Technology Center

The newly minted Advanced Technology Center at Blue Ridge Community College, Weyers Cave, VA, is welcoming its first group of students, changing the way students study STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) thanks to state-of-the-art equipment that offers hands-on experiences. The $7.2-million, 250,000-sq.-ft. facility features seven laboratories, two advanced classrooms and a slew of machines, including 3D copiers.
