Fulton County Processing has installed an SCS coil line from Red Bud Industries, Red Bud, IL, at its service center in Delta, OH. The line gives hot-rolled black materials a smooth, clean and rust-resistant finish—a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to the pickling and oiling process. It works by brushing away all of the surface scale except for a micro-thin layer.

The 72-in.-wide line handles material to ¼ in. thick and includes a heavy-duty peeler breaker, crop shear, Butech leveler and choppers, and tension-type recoiler.
