A new business unit has been formed—Miller Welding Automation—by Miller Electric Mfg., Co., Appleton, WI, following its acquisition of the welding-automation-related assets of Panasonic Factory Solutions Co. of America, Rolling Meadows, IL.
The new business unit combines Panasonic robotic and electronic technology with Miller’s welding products, services and support, and will offer an array of integrated systems and stand-alone automated welding components. On the horizon: a new, dedicated welding-automation facility in Carol Stream, IL.
