Friday, February 01, 2008

Microwave Filter Co., East Syracuse, NY, a manufacturer of passive electronic filter modules, has purchased an electrically heated belt-conveyor oven from The Grieve Corp., Round Lake, IL.

The oven—18 in. wide by 96 in. deep by 15 in. tall—heats to 650 F to facilitate the mass-production soldering of formed metal parts. It boasts a pair of 4-ft.-long insulated heat zones with independent recirculated airflow and temperature control, and a 12-ft.-long cooling zone.
