Knuth Machine Tools, Lincolnshire, IL, introduces the AHK A low-cost hydraulic press brake that combines heavy-duty construction with simple controls. Capacity ranges from 110 to 660 tons, 48- to 240-in. wide. The press brake includes automatic lower bed crowning and adjustable ramp clamps for bend-angle consistency.

The standard digital readout controls ram depth and power backgauge positioning, while a dwell timer is included to hold the ram at the bottom of the stroke. The power backgauge includes a fine adjustment handle in front, and flip fingers with microadjustments for depth and height. The backgauge not only is heavy duty, but is sideframe mounted for optimum rigidity and includes zero-backlash preloaded ball screws for repeatability. Additional features include quick-change upper clamping, light curtain and interlock guards for safety.
