Ice Industries Expanding Monterrey Operations

Deep-draw and high-tonnage metalforming company Ice Industries, Sylvania, OH, has acquired the air-tank manufacturing assets of two U.S. companies and will move those assets to its facility in Monterrey, Mexico.
Ice purchased automated rolling and welding lines from Truck Equipment Manufacturing Co., Charlotte, NC, and Quest Mfg., Springfield, MO, to manufacture steel and aluminum tanks for the heavy truck and off-highway industries. The company’s Monterrey facility currently manufactures HVAC-industry compressor components and fire-extinguisher cylinders.
