MI Stamper Adds 600-Ton Press, New Coil Line

PTM Corp., Fair Haven, MI, has installed a new 600-ton mechanical press from Eagle Press & Equipment Co., Ltd., Oldcastle, Ontario, Canada, rated to 60 strokes/min. and equipped with an Allen Bradley Panel Vision control. Feeding the press is a 48-in. feed line provided by Dallas Industries, Inc., Troy, MI, and a 20,000-lb.-capacity straightener and uncoiler from Mecon Industries, Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. Press bed size: 144 by 54 in.
