Automotive Stamper Announces $6.4 Million Expansion

Ralco Industries Inc., Pontiac, MI, announced plans to invest $6.4 million to expand to a larger facility, thanks in part to state tax credits worth a combined $2.6 million over seven years. The tax credit helped to convince the firm to expand in Michigan rather than move to a competing site in Tennessee.
Ralco, which according to its website “specializes in converting expensive castings into low-cost welded assemblies for automotive exhaust-gas-recirculation (EGR) systems,” expects to hire 100 additional workers as part of its expansion. It also manufactures steering components, suspension and chassis brackets, seating components and other automotive parts.
