Mate Precision Tooling, Anoka, MN, a manufacturer of tooling for CNC punch presses, was named 2009 Manufacturer of the Year by the Manufacturers Alliance, a Minnesota association that provides peer-to-peer training, education and resources to manufacturing companies in Minnesota. Mate was evaluated for its best practices in the areas of educational presentations to manufacturers, peer benchmarking programs, plant tours, publication of technical articles and involvement in manufacturing-related organizations.
