Hyson Products, Brecksville, OH, introduces the controllable SRS series of gas springs, engineered to reduce pad bounce associated with increased return-stroke speeds from the press, and to increase part-transfer efficiency.
All SRS models feature built-in return-stroke speed dampening to eliminate pad bounce. In the press, they decelerate during the last 30 mm of the stroke to bring the metalforming operation to a smooth, controlled stop.
The SRS series is available in stroke lengths from 125 to 300 mm, and can be used in self-contained and hosed modes of operation. All models are easily retrofitted into existing dies.
