Bohler-Uddeholm Corp., Rolling Meadows, IL, manufactures and distributes tool and die steels to companies involved in stamping, forming and fabricating. In addition to offering traditional tool steels such as AISI A2, D2 and S7, the company also supplies materials to form advanced high-strength steels.
In certain cold-work applications, the company’s Uddeholm Vanadis powder-metallurgical tool steels, Uddeholm Caldie, Uddeholm Carmo or Bohler K340 Isodur can offer significant tooling improvements, according to company officials.
The company provides service through 13 distribution centers.
