Rexcon, a division
of Electrex Co., Inc., Harrison Township, MI, introduces its Production Pro Line Supervisor that enables press-line robots to automatically determine optimal production speed. Metalformers need not waste valuable time tweaking the system to optimize production speed—just set the chase parameters and enter the job number and batch capabilities, and the system will do the rest. The control can be programmed with more than 200 variables per job.

Also on display: the Vision De-stacker —on a robot-fed press line, a line robot lifts individual sheet blanks onto the vision table where a camera photographs it and relays the data to the next robot in the line, which will adjust sheet orientation as-needed before placing the blank into the press.
