ShopEdge Software, Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, will demonstrate its enterprise-resource-planning software for the metalforming and automotive industries. Modules include production scheduling and control, purchasing/receiving, tooling/ maintenance, EDI, Q/A heat tracking, barcoding, advanced product quality planning (APQP), financials and shipping. The firm has released reportedly the first web-based software designed for the APQP process, which helps firms keep team members informed of task status and upcoming due dates, and keeps customers informed.
