Fabricator Now Can Laser-Cut Tube and Pipe

Ace Metal Crafts, Franklin Park, IL, has added a Mazak Fabrigear 150 3D laser-cutting machine to its stable of equipment, to cut tube and pipe as well as I and H beams, C channel, angle iron and other shapes. Included with the machine is automatic tapping capability and automatic load, feed, cut and unload. Machine capacity: 6-in. round or square pipe, and shape lengths to 26 ft.
Ace Metal Crafts, which operates a 40,000-sq.-ft. plant, serves customers in the chemical, environmental, food-processing, nuclear, packaging, pharmaceutical and plastics industries.
