Design/Simulation Software Provider Opens Asian Office

Forming Technologies Inc. (FTI), Oakville, Ontario, Canada, has opened Forming Technologies Asia Ltd., in Hong Kong. The firm says that software revenues have grown two-fold over the past year in the Chinese market, with clients such as Ford, Johnson Controls, Dongfeng Motors and the Magna companies now using its products. FTI develops software for the design, simulation and costing of sheetmetal components.
