Braner/Loopco, Schiller Park, IL, shipped a 60,000-lb. by 72-in. by 1⁄4-in. precision coil-slitting line to Roofings LTD in Kampala, Uganda. The line, rated to 1000 ft./min., features a turret-head slitter with two 9- by 72-in. quick-change heads, and variable strip tensioning; 450 hp is available for recoiling straight-wall tight coils. Roofings LTD manufactures metal building products.
