Stimulus Funds Support New, Energy-Efficient Coating Line

American Trim, Lima, OH, plans to install a new protective-film coating line that will use UV light to cure the coatings. The new line will reduce energy consumption by 95 percent compared to using thermally cured coatings. American Trim received $994,000 from the State Energy Plan to help fund the installation, which will coat products for the alternative-energy, automotive and appliance industries.
