Tooling Update

Mate Precision Tooling, Anoka, MN, has introduced the ValuGrind precision grinder that lets fabricators precisely regrind punches and dies to maintain optimum condition.

Available for Thick Turret or Trumpf-style tooling, ValuGrind comes completely fixure and includes an extra-large 165-mm-dia. diameter grinding wheel; an inner wheel cooling system that places coolant directly where needed, reducing excessive heat buildup; and a powerful 1050-W motor that delivers 4050 RPM for optimum surface finish. Grind depth can be set in 0.02-mm increments to avoid over-grinding.
