Hypertherm, Hanover, NH, hired Aaron Brandt as vice president of engineering, and Hidde van Hoeven as business team leader for mechanized plasma and. Takeshi Yamamoto market manager for its operation in Mexico. The company manufactures laser-, plasma- and waterjet-cutting systems.

TRUMPF Inc., Farmington, CT, named Peter Hoecklin president and CEO, and promoted Burke Doar to senior vice president. Hoecklin began at Trumpf in 2003 as director of purchasing in Germany. Doar previously served the firm as vice president of customer services and vice president, sales and marketing.

Tim McCaughey, former president and CEO of Schuler, Inc., has been appointed president of Coldwater Machine Co., Coldwater, OH. The firm manufactures and integrates precision equipment and tools including custom-designed machines, material-handling equipment, robotic systems and appliance-specific manufacturing cells.

Tebis America, Troy, MI, a provider of CAD/CAM systems for tool, die and mold manufacturing, named David Klotz CEO and president. He will oversee sales, marketing, support and operations, and assumes profit/loss responsibilities.

Leader Tech Inc., Tampa, FL, a manufacturer of EMI shielding products, named Gary Mandile director of quality systems and director of manufacturing technologies.

The Steel Market Development Institute, a business unit of the American Iron and Steel Institute, Detroit, MI, named Dr. Jody N. Hall vice president, automotive market. Hall succeeds Ronald P. Krupitzer, retiring at year-end. Hall previously served as a technical integration engineer at the General Motors Global Body Manufacturing Engineering Center.

Metalformer Mills Products, Brentwood, TN, appointed David Brinker R&D manager. The firm supplies hydroformed, rollformed and tubular stamped parts to the automotive and appliance industries.

Coe Press Equipment, Sterling Heights, MI, a supplier of coil-handling and servo-roll-feed equipment, appointed Dave Boissonneault to the newly created position of chief financial officer.

Aerodyne Alloys, South Windsor, CT, appointed Mike Mills territory manager for the Southeastern United States. He’ll be based in Greenville, SC. The firm processes specialty high-temperature alloys including stainless steels and nickel, cobalt and titanium alloys.
