Precision sheetmetal fabricator and stamper Laystrom Manufacturing Co., Chicago, IL, hired Eric Hauser as manufacturing manager. He’ll oversee the firm’s manufacturing and operations support departments, and lead its continuous quality- and process-improvement activities.
Bunting Magnetics Co., Newton, KS, expanded its North American salesforce by appointing Jason Cohen to cover Texas and Oklahoma; Darrick Litten to cover Ohio, West Virginia and Western New York; and Dan Murphy to cover Illinois and Wisconsin. Carl Zeiss, Maple Grove, MN, appointed Michael Kirchner as president of its Industrial Metrology Group in North America. Kirchner previously served the company as general manager for Carl Zeiss Shanghai Ltd.
United Performance Metals (UPM), Hamilton, OH, named Kathy Esquerra regional account manager at its west-coast location in La Mirada, CA. She’ll represent the firm in Central and Northern California, Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada. UPM’s west-coast service center maintains an inventory of specialty stainless-steel and high-temperature alloy sheet and coil.
Stainless Sales Corp., Chicago, IL, promoted Rose of Sharon DeVos to the newly created position of director of sales and marketing. Also, Neil Wolfe moves from the role of inside sales manager to outside sales manager, to focus on new-business development. ATW Companies, a provider of engineered metal products based in Warwick, RI, appointed Karl E. Hoffman account executive for its Metalform division. The division manufactures steel replacement 1911 magazines for the firearms industry.Seyi America, Tullahoma, TN, hired Rene Abelardo de Hoyos as its Mexico service technician manager. An expert in planning and executing preventive-maintenance programs, he’ll work out of Monterrey, N.L., helping the company “achieve its vision for the Seyi brand in Mexico,” says Seyi president Mike Madden.
