Hot off the Press

Metalformer and die builder Tools, Inc. announced plans to commission a new 660-ton Stamtec S2-144-55 mechanical press at its facility in Sussex, WI, in mid-August, 2012. The new press will run progressive dies at 25 to 60 strokes/min. The firm also operates 95-, 200-, 300, and 600-ton mechanical presses as well as deep-draw hydraulic presses to 1000-ton capacity, and maintains a complete tool and die division; www.toolsinc.com/.
