Desch Canada, Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, offers custom system solutions along the entire drive train: planetary and special gears, press drives, switch clutches, clutch-brake-combinations and power-transmission components. Its new servo-driven gearbox promises to increases productivity and reduce costs. On display: the Servox planetary gearbox that, via an adapter, connects directly with a servo motor to provide a highly dynamic drive unit. The gear features an integrated hydraulically actuated safety--no flywheel, coupling or belt drive.
