Production Cell to Feature HMC, Two Robotic Welders

D&S Manufacturing, Black River Falls, WI, announced plans to invest in a new production cell centered around a Toyoda FA800 horizontal machining center (31.5 by 31.5-in. pallet size, 40-hp spindle motor), flanked by a pair of six-axis ABB robotic welders.
D&S manufactures large-scale components and assemblies for a customer list that includes Caterpillar, Oshkosh Corp. and The Trane Co.
