Great Britain Welcomes First SCS Coil Line

Servosteel, a toll processor in Dudley, West Midlands, UK, recently went online with the first SCS coil line to be installed in that country. The SCS line, an environmentally and budget-friendly alternative to pickling and oiling, was designed and manufactured by Red Bud Industries, Red Bud, IL. The process employs a controlled brushing off of all surface scale except for a micro-thin layer. Servo-steel’s new line can process coils to 72 in. wide of stock to 0.315 in. thick.
