Herr-Voss Stamco, Callery, PA, will demonstrate its Laser Shape Measurement System that allows leveler operators to see, in real time, a display of the shape of the material exiting the leveler. The system creates a data log for every foot of material processed; data can be downloaded to a report or shipped to the end user for verification of material flatness.

In operation, the measurement system displays the optimum leveler backup settings necessary to correct the strip-shape defects. These settings can be adjusted manually, or with the push of a button the backup position can be automatically adjusted. www.herr-voss.com
