The C5 Compact Express automated turret punch press from Finn-Power, Arlington Heights, IL, adds unmanned operation to its C5 press through highly compact load/unload automation. The 20-station, 33-ton C5 servo-hydraulic turret punch press has a maximum sheet capacity of 50 by 100 in. and is available with either Siemens or Fanuc CNC control. In addition to standard features including programmable hydraulics, a universal tool holder, and programmable clamp settings, the C5 also offers digitally controlled servo-hydraulic punching with nibbling speeds to 1100 hits/min, as well as indexable upforming.
The Compact Express load/unload setup utilizes the space above and below the press and so requires a small footprint—only slightly more space than the press. www.finnpower.com
