Stainless Sales Corp., Chicago, IL, provides precision-slit stainless-steel coil. The company can slit any 200-, 300- and 400-series stainless grade as light as 28 gauge to as heavy as 4 gauge. Its extensive inventory ensures on-time and just-in-time delivery; customer material also can be stocked onsite for delivery on an as-needed basis. Stainless Sales is increasing capacity with the addition of a second 60-in. slitter and an overhead crane that is expected to increase productivity by more than 50 percent.
