AutoForm Engineering Gmbh, Zurich, Switzerland, has unveiled the latest release of its software, which promises optimized springback calculation.

This release, version 4.1.1, supplements the June 2007 release of version 4.1 with enhancements that offer increased accuracy and efficiency. Version 4.1.1 significantly enhances the performance of the core solver and improves the accuracy of the results, according to AutoForm representatives.

More accurate simulations—particularly precise stress distribution —are important for accurate spring-back calculations. As a result, users can rely on an accurate final validation of the tool and process layout, including springback simulation and compensation.
