Line of Precision Roll Feeds

Waddington Electronics Inc., Cranston, RI, introduces the True Feed SF roll feed that features direct-drive servo technology to eliminate many of the error-inducing components found in the drive trains of conventional feeds. The units come in four roll diameters from 1.25 to 4 in., in widths from 3 to 36 in. High-resolution feedback devices contribute to the accuracy of the feeds—±0.0005 in. Feed speed peaks at 2400 spm. Also available: servo pilot release, for applications requiring precision roll release at high speed.
