LVD Forms Chinese JV Company

Belgian sheetmetal-fabricating-equipment manufacturer LVD Co. n.v. and Hubei Tri-Ring Metalforming Equipment Co., Ltd. (HD) have formed a joint venture company in Huangshi City in China’s Hubei Province. The company will produce LVD’s line of turret punch presses, laser-cutting machines and CNC press brakes, as well as HD’s machinery, for the Chinese and export markets.
HD is a long-time licensee of LVD, has manufactured and sold LVD press brakes and shears since 1981, and has sold LVD’s Strippit CNC turret punch presses since 2000. It is owned by Tri-Ring Group Co., a large state-owned enterprise and one of the 520 key enterprises in China.
