Hypertherm Acquires CAM-Software Company

MTC Software, provider of ProNest, TurboNest and other computer-aided manufacturing software used for sheetmetal and plate fabrication, has been acquired by Hypertherm Inc., Hanover, NH.
Hypertherm manufactures plasma-arc-cutting equipment, and will marry MTC’s software to its CNC motion-control products. MTC headquarters will remain in Lockport, NY.
