Prima Finn-Power introduces Fast Bend, the newest
member of its family of servo-electric benders, which it says can bend five different parts from different thicknesses of different metal alloys in just
5 min. It’s designed to minimize or eliminate setup time in the bending process, particularly for single-piece-flow production. The machine performs positive and negative bending without flipping of the sheet, as well as hemming and multiple-radius bends; requires minimal operator skill and handling; features automatic tool change; and includes barcode scanning to load production information into the control and begin production.
