Stamper/Fabricator Adds Trumpf Laser

Ohio Gasket & Shim Co., Inc., Akron, OH, a manufacturer of custom metal stampings, brackets, precision shims and metallic and nonmetallic gaskets, has ordered a TruLaser 2030 laser-cutting machine from TRUMPF Inc. The machine, slated to be fully operational by the end of January 2011, features integrated, automated load-unload equipment, and is rated for cutting mild steel to ¾ in. thick, stainless to 3⁄8 in. and aluminum to 5⁄16 in.
