Pneumatic and hydraulic actuator manufacturer Phd, Inc., Ft. Wayne, IN, acquired Rankin Corp., Edgemont, PA, the North American master distributor for Yamaha Robotics. PHD manufactures clamps, cylinders, powered slides, rotary actuators and other automation components. Yamaha provides electromechanical robots for a variety of material-handling applications.
