David Miles has been named president of Simonds Saw L.L.C., Fitchburg, MA, succeeding Ray Martino, who will continue to serve as CEO of Simonds Saw and as president and CEO of its parent company, Simonds International. Simonds Saw manufactures metal-cutting saw and file products.

Messer Cutting Systems, Menomonee Falls, WI, a provider of gantry-style thermal-cutting machines for the metalworking industry, has hired Todd Wellens as its Central regional manager.

Punch, die and shear-blade manufacturer American Punch Co., Euclid, OH, has announced the addition of two machinists and a third operator to its plant staff. The new hires will help bolster American Punch’s production of ironworker tooling and precision die components.

Jagemann Stamping Co., a manufacturer of deep-drawn and progressive metal stampings, has hired Mark Greenlund as director of operations. He is responsible for leading the Manitowoc, WI-based company’s core manufacturing operations and metrics.

RoboVent, specializing in air-filtration systems, including those for dust and lubricant collection, has named Greg Plate production manager, overseeing operations at the company’s Sterling Heights, MI, facility. RoboVent also welcomes Brad Williams as field solution sales director.

Rockford Systems, LLC, Rockford, IL, a provider of safeguarding products for industrial machinery, announced that Mike Spain will join the company’s executive sales management team as director of key accounts, a newly created position. Spain will focus on the development and management of large, global customers and oversee Rockford’s restructured sales staff.

Rollforming services provider Samco Machinery, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, has named three new project managers to its staff: Rahul Rani, Serge Vorobiev and Paulo Almaria. Rani and Vorobiev are new to Samco, while Almaria was promoted from within the company.

Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc., Cleveland, OH, a designer, developer and manufacturer of arc-welding products, announced the promotion of Steven B. Hedlund to executive vice president and president of international welding. Hedlund will lead the European and Asia Pacific regions’ day-to-day operations and oversee the implementation of all strategic, operational and commercial initiatives.

Solar Atmospheres, Souderton, PA, a provider of heat-treating and brazing services, announced a number of changes to its executive leadership. Roger Jones has been appointed CEO of the company’s four vacuum-heattreating facilities across Pennsylvania, California and South Carolina. In addition, Jamie Jones has been promoted to president of Solar Atmosphere’s Souderton location, and Trevor Jones has been promoted to CEO of the company’s manufacturing, magnetic specialties and newly developed vacuum-pump services.
