Effective June 1, David Winch assumes the role of chief executive officer and vice chairman of the board of directors for press-technology company Nidec Minster, Minster, OH. John Winch will be stepping down as CEO and president, but will continue to assist in a consulting role. Steve Gruber will assume his new position as president and chief operating officer, reporting to David Winch. Gruber will be responsible for Nidec Minster’s activities in the machinery, automation, midwest/ operations and services divisions as well as human resources. He will focus on growth in new and existing markets, as well as new products and continuous operational improvements. Ron Arling will serve as executive vice president and chief financial officer, reporting to David Winch. He will continue overall responsibility for internal company functions focusing on managing the financial wellness, compliance and information technology. In addition, Arling will assume overall responsibility for mergers and acquisitions along with integration of new companies. Rick Schwartz becomes vice president of Nidec Minster’s Machinery and Automation divisions, continuing his focus on sales, engineering, marketing and purchasing for those divisions. Managing director Tim Fletcher assumes responsibility for the Services division.

Neff Press, Inc., St. Louis, MO, recently hired Carl Gober and Jeffery Schwalbert as design engineers to assist with growing demand of the company’s hydraulic presses.
