Two facilities of Liberty Steel—Warren, OH, and Saltillo, Mexico—have recently installed new coil-feed lines from Coe Press Equipment, Sterling Heights, MI. The lines are specified to process high-strength (to 85,000 PSI yield) steel, with maximum line speed to 100 ft./min.

The Saltillo line can process material to 0.210 in. thick and 54 in. wide; the Warren line can process steel to 0.250 in. thick and 42 in. wide. Both feature Coe’s CPPS-507-series heavy-duty power straightener, with hi-flight backups to eliminate roll deflection and optimize material flatness.
