A new Tanaka TF6000 6-kW laser-cutting machine installed at Penn Stainless Products, Quakertown, PA, is outfitted with optional nitrogen-gas-flow technology that enables cutting of stainless-steel plate to 11⁄8 in. thick. Cutting envelope: 13 by 62 ft., with a tolerance of ±0.10 in. and less than 1 deg. of edge taper.
